This page explains what data thomasdeil.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: we only collect your email if you choose to join the new-music list, we use it for nothing else, and you can leave whenever you want.

Who is responsible

The controller is Thomas Deil (Thomas Dalle Stelle), Padua, Italy. For anything about your data, email mgmt@thomasdeil.com. The site and the email list are run on his behalf by Otocracy (otocracy.com), which acts as processor.

The new-music email list

If you join the list we store:

• your email address;
• the date and time you joined, and the exact consent wording you agreed to;
• the country your connection came from (from your IP address at signup; the IP itself is not stored).

We use this only to email you about Thomas Deil's new releases and show dates. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). We do not sell or share the list, and it is not used for anyone else's marketing.

We keep your details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email mgmt@thomasdeil.com.

Things this site does not do

• No advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics.
• Fonts, photos and video are served from this site itself. Your browser keeps a small note (session storage, not a cookie) so the intro animation doesn't replay during one visit.

Third parties

• Vercel hosts the site and, like any web server, processes your IP address to deliver pages and keep them secure.
• Supabase stores the email list in its London (UK) region, a country the EU recognises as providing adequate protection.
• Spotify: if you press a record's Preview button, the 30-second clip streams from Spotify's servers, which then see your IP address. Links to Spotify, SoundCloud, Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw your consent at any time, or object to how it is used. Email mgmt@thomasdeil.com and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to a data protection authority; in Italy that is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
